2024年4月13日，澳洲新南威爾斯州悉尼邦代匯西田購物中心發生持刀傷人事件，造成包括嫌疑人在內的七人死亡，其他數人受傷，其中包括一名九個月大的嬰兒。40歲的男性嫌疑人被警察當場擊斃。

襲擊經過[編輯]

據新南威爾斯警方表示，嫌疑人首次進入雪梨西田邦代匯購物中心的時間約為澳洲東部標準時間下午三時十分。[1]據稱他曾離開購物中心並在十分鐘後持刀返回。[2][3]嫌疑人在下午三時二十分回到購物中心後開始持刀傷人。[4]兇手行兇時有意避開男性，並且故意針對女性。[5]據報導，新南威爾斯警方在下午4時前不久接到多人被刺傷的報告後趕到現場。[2][6]該建築物隨即被疏散，[3]週邊區域的公共交通線路被臨時調整。[7]

據報導，一名女督察艾米·史考特（Amy Scott）在建築物的五樓與嫌疑人對峙時向其胸部射擊，並在嫌疑人倒地後立即對其進行心肺復甦。[4][8][9][10][11]

兇手是一名來自昆士蘭州圖文巴的40歲男子，名叫喬爾·考奇（Joel Cauchi）。他於2024年3月來到悉尼。[12]

兇手沒有工作，單身，也沒有子女[12]。兇手17歲時被診斷出患有一定程度的精神疾病[16]。隨著年齡增長，兇手的心理健康狀況越來越差。[12]

澳大利亞總理安東尼·阿爾巴尼斯稱事件是「恐怖的暴力行為」；他表示自己已聽取事件的簡報，同時向受害者及應急人員表示慰問[17][18]。他又讚揚擊斃兇手的女警艾米是「英雄」，同時指示有關方面延長仗義出手的法國建築工人達米安的護照，誠摯邀請達米安成為澳大利亞公民[19]。美國總統喬·拜登、英國首相里希·蘇納克、新西蘭總理克里斯托弗·盧克森表示了慰問[10]。澳洲君主查爾斯三世和卡蜜拉王后[20]、威爾斯親王威廉及王妃凱薩琳[21]以及教宗方濟各也表達慰問[22]。

署理新南威爾士州州長潘妮·夏普（英語：Penny Sharpe）召集內閣成員進行緊急會議，正在東京休假的州長柯民思聽取了會議簡報。柯民思對事件表示震驚之餘，也和潘妮一道向受害者及應急人員表示慰問。4月15日，柯民思表示正考慮為遇難者設立永久的紀念碑。新南威爾士州政府設置了網上的弔唁冊[23]。兇手來自昆士蘭州的傳出後，昆士蘭州州長史蒂芬·邁爾斯（英語：Steven Miles）表示會全力協助調查[24]。與此同時，昆士蘭州各大商場的警力有所增加[25]。

4月14日的北墨爾本（英語：North Melbourne Football Club）對陣吉朗（英語：Geelong Football Club）的澳大利亞澳式足球聯盟比賽中，北墨爾本全員佩戴黑色袖標，向在事件中遇難的阿什莉·古德，也就是俱樂部董事會主席、退役球員凱瑞·古德（英語：Kerry Good）的女兒致哀[26]。

案發第二天，有民眾在邦代匯購物中心靠牛津街的入口處向遇害者獻花，有志願者到場提供心理輔導[16]。阿爾巴尼斯宣布4月15日為全國哀悼日，各地政府大樓及地標建築降半旗致哀[27]。當晚悉尼歌劇院打出黑絲帶投影[28]。
